Liga MX Femenil is the top division of women's football in Mexico, created in 2017. Like the men's Liga MX, it is organized into Apertura and Clausura tournaments, with a regular phase followed by a liguilla play-off to decide the champion.

In a few years it became one of the best-attended and fastest-growing women's leagues on the continent, with Tigres, Monterrey and América as regular finalists. The gap between the top teams and the rest is usually wide, which shows in lopsided scores. Goals scored and conceded statistics help gauge that difference.
